Vince’s passion for art started off at a young age with blank sheets of paper and number two graphite pencils. He loved to draw any chance he could. Even though he loved to draw comic book characters, he also enjoyed drawing real life subjects - especially portraits. As he went through grade school, he drew his classmates portraits and let them keep them for memories. Later in life, he found out some of them still have the portraits he drew.

Vince felt drawing wasn’t a fast enough medium to capture what he was trying to express artistically and wanted to learn photography. He started his photographic venture through self-study but then decided to take things to the next level and started to study his passion formally. Through his formal studies, he realized that not only does he love fine art, but self-portraiture as well. He found this as an opportunity to visually tell his story - like a visual journal. His work reflects different aspects of his life journey. Vince wants his audience to personally relate to his work and feel like they’re not alone.
